This morning Gracie was very playful....pouncing around and chasing Charlie. The two of them were having fun playing, but of course I couldn't manage to get to the camera fast enough to catch it.  Gracie was scheduled to be at GVS at 7:45am so I was hoping she wouldn't notice that she wasn't going to get to eat.
Of course that wasn't the case. Gracie knows her eating schedule and as soon as we went downstairs she was barking excitedly for her "lunch"....but she wasn't going to get it. She doesn't eat before going in on chemo days because the type of chemo she gets (Adriamycin & DTIC) can make her nauseous . It's a long day for her as she gets her chemo over 4-6 hours, but first gets her blood work done. Today we're getting her xrays done to check and make sure we don't see anything else.  I'm going to stay positive that the xrays today will be clear. Go Gracie Go!
