I hate to say it but Gracie is not feeling good this Sunday.  She didn't want to eat anything this morning...I couldn't coax her into even having just some chicken broth.  I called GVS a couple of times, they had me checking her temperature, which stayed within the normal range, and get her 10mg of Pepcid to see if that could settle her stomach and let her feel hungry again.  She is doing a lot of deep sleeping today and Charlie is sticking pretty close checking up on her and licking her head. So sweet, it worries me so much that she won't eat because that's something that throughout this treatment she has been doing consistently well. I called GVS again and they said see if she'll eat anything...a piece of luncheon meat or something, even though it's not her special diet. The tech I spoke to said something right now would definitely be better than nothing. I pulled out a piece of 100% beef bologna (low fat) and Gracie ate it up.....she wasn't too excited to eat a bunch of it so I thought I would try later to see if she would eat another slice of it.  She kept the first piece down and a couple of hours later she ate a second slice so that's good. I'm hoping all the sleep and the bologna....all under the watchful eye of her boy Charlie....will have Gracie feeling better in the morning.  If not it will probably be a trip to GVS to see what's goind on and maybe an appetite stimulant.
