Saturday Sick Day

Silly Gracie and Charlie, up playing and pouncing a little later than usual. They waited until almost 8am to start the barking and jumping on me in bed.  Who needs an alarm when you've got these two goofballs?! Gracie was excited to eat her breakfast, but like the last few days was still fussy about eating it. We've got the cell advance supplement worked back in, but that's the only one so far.  She's still taking the Pepcid every morning, then the antibiotics and the other meds for her GI situation so after this weekend we'll try to get everything else worked back in.  Her appetite is still a little finicky, but she seems hungry and is excited to pick the chicken out so that's good.  Charlie is happy to supervise her eating, her sleeping and her playtime.  Such a sweet big brother....and she's such an appreciative sweet girl....with a crazy moustache, that's about all that's left of her whiskers. Crazy looking.  We're also keeping a close eye on her temperature to make sure it doesn't spike into a fever.  She feels a little warm but her temperature is hovering around 102 so as long as it doesn't go higher we're okay.  With all that she has going on it's just important to keep her home with her companion so that her body can do its best to fight this nasty disease. Cancer sucks.....but beating it is certainly what we're planning to do!
