A Rough Personal Day
Gracie and Charlie did the bed pounce to start the day. There's nothing like a couple of dogs jumping on you to wake you up. The timing was just right too......a firetruck went by and Gracie broke out into song. For whatever reason she doesn't do it with police, ambulance or any other sirens, but when she hears a firetruck siren she begins to howl. It's very cute really. Gracie enjoyed her meals today, we have all the supplements worked back in so that's good. She's on her last couple of days of antibiotics so I hope they fully knock out the urinary tract infection.
On a personal note this was a very tough day. My sister has been in the hospital for a couple of weeks due to complications of her pregnancy. She's pregnant with 2 girls and in her 25th week, but today the smaller of the 2 babies passed away. She remains in the hospital on restricted bed rest and we are all praying for the best with the other baby. Doctors are hoping that she will be able to carry her for a while yet so she can get as strong as they would like for her to be delivered. Please throw a few extra prayers her way if you don't mind. We are!
